Xorg-Server has been updated to 1.4.2Â - so there should be no
problems if you install the legacy nVidia drivers or the binary
ATI driver. The KDE4 release includes KDE 4.1.2 and 10.2008
is working with KDE 3.5.10. The kdesvn-portage overlay has been
deleted because the official portage tree now contains KDE 4.1
ebuilds. The desktop-effects overlay has been added to make the
newest development release of the 3D-Desktop compiz 0.7.8
available. There are new entrys in the hardware database to make
sure that the correct driver for Radeon 4xxx and GeForce GTX
Cards is used at the booting routine. Almost all packages were
updated to the newest version.
Have much fun with Toorox 10.2008 and Toorox 10.2008-KDE4.
